Synchronous Class Session Accessibility Considerations
- Provide a telephone option for the Zoom or Teams session.
- If you have a student who is deaf or hard of hearing in your class, work with the Disability Support Services office to provide live captioning and/or interpreting services.
- If the class session is recorded, ensure the video is accurately captioned before sending it to students or posting it in your course.
- If you have a student with a visual impairment, ensure that all documents shared during the synchronous class session are available to the student in an accessible format before the class session.

Potential Solutions:
- Provide extra time to respond to polls
- Verbally recap/summarize activity from the chat

Potential Solutions:
- Chunk direct instruction/lecture into manageable segments

- Provide the class with a list of questions before the synchronous class session
Physical
