Whiteboard ToolThe Whiteboard lets you and your instructor draw or insert images (like figures from a textbook) and manipulate or color them to illustrate a point. At the same time, you can add text to your illustration. Where discussion of a figure or diagram is needed, the Whiteboard can be helpful. When you click on the Whiteboard Tool icon, you’ll see a large gray button that looks like this: Click on Start Whiteboard to begin your Whiteboard session. When (if) the Whiteboard loads, it looks something like this: The Tool Bar on the left hand side of the Whiteboard is where all the action is. Fortunately, each of these icons has a rollover description in the Information Box (lower right corner) that tells you what it does. When you place your cursor over one of these tools, a description of that tool appears in the Information window. The main window is where you and your classmates and instructor can place images, text or drawings. When you choose a tool and use it in the white space, everyone connected to the Whiteboard will be able to see what you’ve drawn or typed when you release your mouse button. |
