Course Management Procedures

Fullerton College supports Blackboard Learning Systems CE6 (formerly WebCT) as the course management system for delivery of Distance Education courses.

Complete an Instructional Technology Course Information Form for any new course shell request. To assist the Distance Education Department in better estimating server demand, course space required, and course offerings anticipated. Distance Education also needs to be informed of the preferred delivery mode for your course.

Requesting a course shell for WebCT CE 4.1:

The Distance Education staff prepares a course shell for each online/hybrid course listed in the class schedule approximately two weeks before the semester.

Upon receipt of the form, a shell will be created and confirmed course location, username, and password to the requestor’s email address.
