Spring 2017 Pilot

Fullerton College is conducting a formal pilot of the Canvas learning management system in Spring 2017. It is open to all faculty teaching all modes of courses, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses. Also, if you are soon to become a former Engrade user and are looking for a new online grade book option, give Canvas a try.

About Canvas and OEI

The California Community College’s Online Education Initiative (OEI) has chosen Canvas as its learning management system. Ninety-four of the community colleges in California’s 113-college system have now joined OEI. The governor of California, the CCC Chancellor’s office and a statewide grant are paying for Canvas through 2019 on the first contract, and they have already earmarked funds to continue to pay for another 5-year term after 2019.
