MyMathLab 
Students taking an online math class using MyMathLab.com will need to obtain a course ID from their instructor AND purchase an access code for the course.  The MyMathLab site is www.coursecompass.com.  You will NOT be able to register or log in until you have the necessary information from your instructor.  For more details and further information, contact individual instructor.

Publisher Sites
Some courses may use a Publisher's site, such as McGraw-Hill "Connect," WileyPLUS, or MyGateway "Site Studio."   For information on which management system a course uses, refer to course specific information in the Schedule of Classes, or contact individual instructor.

Where do I log in to access courses in Blackboard?
Two options:

1.  MyGateway:
    -  Click on  "Student"  Tab
    -  Click on "Fullerton College Blackboard" link  (in the box with the Blackboard (Bb) icon)
 

2.  Go to:  http://online.fullcoll.edu  -  click on Blackboard button


What are my user name and password?
1.  MyGateway:
     user name:  8-digit Student I.D.   (e.g., @0000xxxx) 
     password:   MyGateway/WebStar password                   Forgot Banner I.D. - Pin Reset
        -  Click on  "Student"  Tab
        -  Click on "Fullerton College Blackboard" link (in box with the Blackboard (Bb) icon)

What should I be aware of when taking tests and exams?
Blackboard requires significant bandwidth:
    - Use a hard wire connection. 
    - Unless solid and stable, avoid WiFi or other wireless connections (G3, G4, etc.).

To avoid being kicked out of tests, and/or not being able to see "submit" button:
    -  Wait and let the test load, entirely, before answering the first question. 
    -  Do not click the "Back" button.
    -  Do not use "backspace."
    -  Do not go back to "Home" page.
    -  Do not open a new window, second window, or click on an opened window.
    -  Do not enlarge or reduce the screen.
    -  Do not open a second browser.
    -  Do not click the "Refresh" button.
    -  Do not click multiple times in a window (this emulates a "submit" request).
    -  Do not assume you can reenter:
                -  Session may "time out," connectivity lost, when lapse in activity.
                -  Test may be "timed," allowing for entry only once.

AND.....
   
Do NOT attempt to use a cell phone application, Internet card, iPhone, mobile devices, etc.
             -  Blackboard is data intensive, requiring significant bandwidth:
                        -  Use a reliable computer:
                              (laptops, iPhones, Ipads are very sensitive  - "Submit" is tripped easily)
                        -  Do not try to take tests at Starbucks, hotel lobbies, airports, etc.

      -
  Do NOT use Internet Explorer browser.
         -  PC's:  Firefox and Google Chrome browsers recommended. 
         -  MAC's:  Safari and Firefox recommended.
